BioLit - powder/sand/ultra-fine

BioLit (type Diabas) is a volcanic rock, like Lava and Basalt. This product is created during volcanic eruptions in valleys between mountains. This means that BioLit is rich in trace elements that the plant requires, which are often not included in a general fertilisation programme. BioLit also consists of readily available silicon, which makes plants stronger and less susceptible to diseases and pests. As the silicate crystals have a large surface area, BioLit has a positive effect on the CEC content of the soil, resulting in better retention of fertilisers

.In addition to the standard BioLit as a mineral product, this is also available in powder form (<80mu) which is treated as standard with effective microbial spores. This product can be added to manure and compost, or spread over the land with a lime spreader, which improves the organisms in the soil.
