Calbind MP/LP

Calbind is an animal supplementary feed with a high level of Zeolite 4A. The product also contains a number of other animal feed raw materials. Calbind has a strong affinity for calcium. The product is mainly used to initiate the vitamin-D-dependent mechanism in heavily gestating cows. This results in the release of calcium prior to calving and makes the calcium from the feed available after calving. In short, the product ensures an ideal calcium balance around the time of calving. The product also has a preventive effect against milk fever and ketosis.

Because of the composition and production process of Calbind, the product can easily be fed as the sole product to dry animals at the end of the dry period.
