PowerCal XF
PowerCal XF is a fine powder variant of the product PowerCal, which is used in sow farrowing pens. Spreading of PowerCal XF in piglet nests ensures that piglets dry more quickly and prevents them from cooling down. The umbilical cord will dry faster, making it harder for undesirable bacteria to penetrate. Spreading PowerCal XF on the floor also provides more grip for the newborn piglets, making it easier for them to reach the udder. PowerCal XF is also perfect for weaned piglets as it dries the pens faster after cleaning and controls the piglets lying behaviour.
