Phil 75/Actionine belongs to the group of zeolites of sedimentary origin and is registered as a technological additive (E566) under the subgroup binders, anti-caking agents and coagulants.
Because of the large number of angles in the honeycomb-like structure, there is a high cation exchange capacity (CEC value). This makes Zeolite Actionine excellent as a buffer. As the ammonia concentration in the rumen is reduced, the rumen becomes less acidic. This product also regulates the Potassium and Calcium levels during certain production stages, which is conducive to animal health. The stimulating effect on the production of volatile fatty acids has a positive impact on the fat content in the milk. The product can also be used to bind harmful substances.
